As a venture investor, moderator Bucky Moore commonly encounters data entrepreneurs who believe the only path to success is through building a vertical-specific solution. While this approach has produced successes, our panelists, hailing from innovative startups DataHero, Mode Analytics and Realm, have set out to prove that the very opposite business model is possible. By sharing stories from their journey as entrepreneurs, the panelists will aim to dispel the myth that building horizontally-applicable products is too difficult. They’ll also share insights for how other entrepreneurs, too, can achieve success through holistic approaches to big data.
