Alex Bentley is a Principal Product Manager within IBM's BIg Data portfolio, focusing on BigInsights, BigSQL and Virtualization. He joined IBM in 2010 via acquisition of Initiate Systems, where he led technical product management. Over the past 15 years, he has led Agile PM teams at multiple acquired venture backed start-ups, focused on the high-tech, automotive, healthcare & financial industries, . He graduated from Purdue University with a major in Chemical Engineering and resides in Austin, Texas.
