Chetan joined NEA in 2011 and focuses on Big Data, infrastructure software, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. He is involved in NEA's investments in MongoDB, MuleSoft, Elasticsearch, Acquia, and CloudFlare. Prior to joining NEA, Chetan was with H.I.G. Capital’s Leveraged Buyout Group, where he was involved in financing and executing new investment opportunities as well as actively managing portfolio companies. Prior to H.I.G., Chetan was a Technology Investment Banker with Houlihan Lokey where he advised clients on over $6 billion of strategic transactions. Chetan earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. While at Stanford, he was involved in algorithm research at Stanford's STARlab.
