Vijay Ramesh has been a software engineer at change.org since early 2012, and was a founding member of the data science team where he helped to build automated machine-learning driven email targeting, robust and fault-tolerant ETL pipelines, and service-oriented architecture and development. More recently he has led efforts to introduce Cassandra to the change.org data stack, as well as continuing to develop distributed microservices. In his spare time, he enjoys thinking about what Erlang/OTP got right, and seeing live music with his two young daughters.
